The most disgusting ritual of the day
Posted by barista in Bike, Me myself and I, Meh on 07/15/2009
… is locking my bike up in the morning at the office. Slightly winded, heart racing, lungs pulling in more air then normal.
Bike rack sorounded by the cigarette crowd.
Yuck. /cough Yuck.
Stormy Weather
The last few days had their share of wind/thunder/lightning and rain. The pressure changes had me reeling and I’m not surprised that I feel like I need even more sleep.
I was going to spend lunch shooting some footage with the Xacti, but it’s overcast, humid and now pouring down. Maybe tomorrow.
Sick as a Dog
Hi, remember me ? Yes, I’m barely alive, having weathered through what appears to be a flu. It’s not gone, but I’m at work and working. Loosing Monday to comatose state, I had worked remotely Tuesday and Wednesday. Without medication to handle the congestion, I’d be a goner.
Some good news, having had regular daily snoozes, I was able to spend some time in the evenings to play some WoWcrack. The game’s #1 purpose in my life is to remove my attention from the day-to-day, which was in this case was: being sick.
Rough Week
4 days in a row I slept through the alarm. Bleary eyed and sleepy sum up this week. Being a “Human Barometer” is hard.
Blerk – Busy
I have been swearing under my breath, creatively using all the languages in my repertoire, and it’s all due to a scheduling conflict.
Oh, by-the-by, IBM x Series servers’ Remote Supervisor Adapter II and the dumb IBM re-badged Adaptec RAID controllers have wasted so much frakin time of mine… I now will recommend no more IBM hardware. So there.
I will return to schedules post once this task is off my plate.
And then …
… the world returned to a green pallet. Welcome back Spring!
Could you please not make me sneeze though ? And the runny eyes are a pain.
Subaru Outback 2010

NY presentation Outback 2010
So the trend continues, more Subaru vehicles that look positively “Meh”. Lacking any distinctive style seems to be a selling point for many cars, as so aptly proven by Toyota designers, and Subaru borrows a page. I liked the older model far more.
I wonder if Subaru will ever get a brand design identity as strong as their brand technical identity.
AutoBlog collected pictures from the unveiling and the stock photos.
