Hefner Bunnies!
Posted by barista in Interweeb! on 06/30/2009
Sylvilagus palustris hefneri to be precise, are threatened with extinction. No, not the blond bodacious ones at the Playboy mansion and online, but these cute Florida Lower Keys species. These cute “Bun Bun” need a good habitat. Mansions perhaps ?
BMW 316d 4.5l/100km

Kudos to BMW, they announced that the 316d, the newest member of 3 series, will be released in September. The miserly 4.5l/100km is the product of a “de-tuned” 2-liter 4 cylinder diesel that produces 116 HP and 192-lb/ft of torque, combined with a 6 speed manual tranmission.
One can but dream that such an “entry-level” 3 Series will make it here.
Stormy Weather
The last few days had their share of wind/thunder/lightning and rain. The pressure changes had me reeling and I’m not surprised that I feel like I need even more sleep.
I was going to spend lunch shooting some footage with the Xacti, but it’s overcast, humid and now pouring down. Maybe tomorrow.

Hot … and not sleeping
Posted by barista in Me myself and I on 06/24/2009
The city is bloody hot, and only tomorrow will it release this heat into a large thunderstorm. Or so they say.
I’m guessing I won’t be riding my bicycle then … but real problem right now is: How will I fall asleep ? Frak!
So, being up late and on the ‘Net, I end-up scouring NCIX.com’s weekly special.
Unlucky me, I found something that caught my eye. A Sanyo Xacti CA9 … and then went ahead and ordered one ^.^
Maybe I should have been reading instead ;D
Ken Block … showing off.

Madsen Cycles Cargo Bikes
Funny, I sent e-mail at work about these bikes last week and I like the design.
Sadly the ongoing contest is USA only
Feeling better

And biked in to celebrate. That said, when I woke up, biking to work was the last thing on my mind, but after showering, it was “let’s go!”
Took the ride in very easy, watched the other cyclists to catch some ideas, some shortcuts and such. It worked out well, I now have some great new paths.
