VW Golf GTD

VW Golf GTD

VW Golf GTD

I’ve been waiting on such good news.  CarScoop has the current details on the VW Gold GTD, the Diesel version of the GTI.  But in short, 170HP, 258lbs of torque from 1,750 rpm and 44.3 MPG.

I find this car to be the right amount of presence and power, almost a Q Car from the get go.

Stuff this engine in a VW Tiguan and watch the sales eclipse everything.  That’s what I think anyhoot.

Update:  Official unveiling at Leipzig auto show as told by AutoBlog.

That and IT Crowd

Props to ArsTechnica
