The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

I’ve been reading many books on my Sony PRS-505S eBook reader in the last two months. This electronic paper device is my constant companion on the subway and train rides. Acces to eBook formatted material now taints my first choice in what to read next.
By chance, a colleague had taken out from the library “The Graveyard Book” by Neil Gaiman and I had the luck of having a weekend to read it before it needed to be returned. Lucky me in fact, as the story feels very familiar, but the execution and context very charming. I must not give the obvious analogy, as it would give the story away too much. In so far as plot line: “What if a child in danger was adopted and raised by ghosts in a cemetery ?”
I can safely say: “If you enjoyed Coraline, movie and/or book, you’ll enjoy this book. ”
Since it’s hardcover, I recomend the library, or wait for the softcover/eBook.
The Artwork of David Petersen
Yesterday, after grabbing a nice slice of pizza, stopped by a gamin/comic shop and picked-up a series by David Petersen called “Mouse Guard”. Although I’m missing a few chapters right now, I can say with certainty that this work impresses and delights me. On top of it all, there is a Mouse Guard RPG that I will hunt down and purchase.
What’s even more impressive is David’s other work.
